To make your mornings great, relaxing and wonderful, follow this quick 10-step-checklist!
1. Set out clothes the night before.
Want to save time in the morning? Pick what to wear the night before so that after you prepare you won’t have to think about it too much during go-time.
2. Preset your coffeemaker.
Set your coffeemaker to brew so it’s dripping without any extra effort in the morning.
3. Wake up earlier.
When you wake up earlier than usual, you’ll have more time to finish tasks and you’ll go to work with a clearer and more prepared mind.
4. Let the light come in!
Don’t sleep in a dark corner where no sunlight gets in. Sunlight has been proven to wake people up, more relaxed and motivated.
5. Drink water.
Your body has just undergone a full night’s rest without any nutrient intake. Jumpstart it with a full glass of clean water!
6. Do 10 minutes of cardio.
People think that you have to spend insane amounts of time to keep your body in tip-top shape, just 10 minutes of cardio exercises, like jogging or hiking, can boost your body’s energy levels!
7. Get ready!
Shower and follow your regular beauty routine.
8. Set one goal.
Don’t give in to pressure. If you achieved even just a singular goal for the entire day, then that day could be considered a success. Meditate on what you want to achieve for the day before you proceed.
9. Leave on time.
Make sure that you have 10 or 15 minutes to spare before you arrive at your meeting or your place of work.
10. Eat breakfast.
This one’s a no-brainer. Breakfast is your only source of energy for the heavy-hitting tasks that lie ahead, so don’t skip on it. There are many fast options that you can get!
